One Commerce Plaza

A several year, multiple-phase renovation of One Commerce Plaza which is adjacent to the New York State Capitol in Albany, New York. Working with the building owner and management company, life-safety and building code analyses were provided for proposed tenant space renovations and existing building exiting systems for the high-rise 20 story structure. Design consultation was also provided for the replacement of the building’s exterior stone cladding and glass curtain wall systems. As part of the continuing building modernization, all building perimeter entry systems and security upgrades were also made.

Design scope included proposed renovations and alterations of the main lobby, removal of the escalators, all new security systems, and an entire new finish package to modernize the lobby area while providing extra security.
