Architectural Project Manager

Synthesis Architects is looking for a Project Manager to join our team on the pedestrian portion of Jay Street in downtown Schenectady, New York. We are an award-winning design firm providing architecture and planning services for Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Automotive, and Government clients.

Project Manager Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Architecture office with at least 1 year as a Project Manager
• Strong knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Strong people, verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for exceptional Architecture
• Complete all phases of a project 

Responsibilities include:

• Design
• Building code evaluation
• Hand sketching
• Schematic and construction documents drafting
• Review of documents
• Specification writing
• Coordination with consultants, designers, and architectural staff
• Manage all aspects of client relations including attending meetings
• Construction administration
