Architectural Project Manager / Designer

Synthesis Architects is seeking to add dynamic Architectural Project Managers / Designers to our diverse team on the pedestrian portion of Jay Street in downtown Schenectady. Our portfolio of clients include Commercial, Educational, and Government.

Candidates will possess some of the following qualifications:

• Minimum of a 4 or 5 year degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Architecture office
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in SketchUp, and Maxwell a PLUS
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for exceptional Architecture

Job duties would include:

• Building code evaluation
• Hand sketching
• Schematic and construction documents drafting
• Reviewing of documents
• Specification writing
• Engineering coordination
• Construction administration
